There were some challenges in terms of vocabulary, but it was not that critical to understand the whole story. But I personally think it could be quite difficult for someone without general background on the history of philosophy even though this book was written for teenagers. Even though I know it's a masterpiece that won Novel Literature Award, it's very hard to understand the main character's behavior and thought. He just seems to be a psychopath. Of course, I don't know the core of existentialism, even a piece of it, in fact. But as an ordinary reader I don't think it is required .. In this book she talks about the core reason why so many of mom and dad deal with their children in a wrong way. There are too much information about parenting these days. It's kind of golden age of ' untrustworthy expert'. Even though there are so many of parenting ways, which is known to be reliable, we need to be more tailored with ou.. (2021_61) Mindset - Carol S. Dweck I recently read "Mindset" written by Dr Dweck. Before I read it, I already watched her presentation on that concept in TED. Not surprisingly I think I can connect the dots from most books I read recently. For example, the main idea I can drew from "Mindset", "Grit", "Limitless", "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" is the plasticity of brain. It is very simple but powerful; according to Dr Dweck, w..
