Frankly speaking, after I read it up, I thought - what the hell is he talking about? Even though I know it's a masterpiece that won Novel Literature Award, it's very hard to understand the main character's behavior and thought. He just seems to be a psychopath. Of course, I don't know the core of existentialism, even a piece of it, in fact. But as an ordinary reader I don't think it is required to know the theory to understand this novel.

Like other class novels, The Stranger is also not that interesting. I'm still lacking in many things as a reader so I need to learn to enjoy a book perfectly!
