Finally, I read all the 10 books! It was interesting until the 108 heroes got together in Liangshanbo. But right after they became Song dynasty's regular army, the story started to get boring. I just felt the huge gap between Water Margin and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Battles were too typical, there were too many new characters after Junho's revolt, and story was improbable. But one thing I was satisfied with was the ending; most heroes died. I was shocked a lot when I read it first in my 10s, but now I think it leaves an impression in that it shows the limit and imperfection of heroes. Who knew that I would change like this?
